My wife has always wanted one. She’s not to picky. Something mid ‘60's-early ‘70s. Luckily these are still affordable compared to say....a ‘54....

Prices are only going to go up on these. Get ‘em while they’re hot.

Your wife and my wife should get together and start some sort of club. Mine seems to like 61s - 66s best.

I’m partial to the 65 and 66. Here’s my 66.

As the owner of a ‘61 and former owner of a ‘72, I approve.
And I agree that prices are still quite reasonable, although I’m sure the ‘60's decade has started going up already. I sold my ‘72 this spring for just over half what I paid for my ‘61. Fun fact: I sold my ‘72 for the same amount I paid 9 years earlier, and it was the exact amount that it cost new from the dealer in ‘72 - the receipt was in the glove box.
Edit: I’ll also add that the ‘67-’72 generation is significantly more “modern” feeling than the ‘61-’66 era. At least, in my experience having owned one example of each.
